HAHA RANDOM POETRY SMSes
it is as the title suggests. random poetry messaging between lis and myself hahaha.
after mass... while sitting in front of church waiting for my parents... i wrote this (all on phone). this isn't exactly a poem but i found it funny :P
In quiet solitude,
i sat on the steps,
at the entrance of a small little church.
i saw the world pass me by,
ever so slowly,
ever so peacefully.
There was nothing,
nothing to disturb this rare silence,
no tv, no cars, no barking.
And out of nowhere comes a voice,
deep and with much authority.
Why are you not inside?
I nervously replied...
that's because i just came out. :P
lol. so anticlimax (at least it looked so on sms)
Lis replied with this...
Is he Or is she?
My eyes are fogged up
No wait, everything else around is clear
Yet that blur thing there -
male, female?
miss, mister?
Human?
Lines are thin, maybe even fading,
but somehow bold when place together.
Open yet tight,
close yet bursting,
it's not monochrome for sure.
Next day, i replied with this. Deciding whether or not to go mass.
Dilemma!
As the bus passes my stop.
I couldn't help but wonder.
Did i make th right choice?
Ahead of me lies gloomy weather,
beyond that a hopeful matter.
It is too late now,
i have chosen what i have,
done what i thought i should.
An inconvenience first for something better.
She replied with this.
It's never too late:
To make up for what's been done.
To make up for what's been lost.
To make up for what's been said.
To make up for what's been thought.
To start doing it weel.
To start finding your way.
To start saying what's right.
To start thinking for the better.
Lol.
And to beat me by one, she sent another.
As the train moves on,
the calmness of the night fills the carriage.
Protected from the dangers of the outside world.
I sit listening to the *ballroom blitz.
Then a sudden burst of air fills the place.
Within seconds, the voice announces 'door closing'
and only a beeping sound remains.
*note: BALLROOM BLITZ IS A SUPER COOL SONG!!! It's from the 1970s, of a genre known as 'Glam Rock' (how cool is that man?) and is by a band called Sweet. Check out on Youtube.
HAHA.I realise i write more emo, gloomy stuff. Lis writes more random positive stuff. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
I've gone nuts.
